Topology Function Setting

Configure settings to use the topology function for serverless pull printing.

If you enable the topology function setting, the machine with the setting enabled can manage configuration information of the target serverless pull printing group.

Description

[Topology Function Enable Settings]

Configure the settings to use the topology function.

  • [Topology Function Enable Settings]: When using the topology function, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

  • [Connection Timeout Setting]: Specify the timeout period to send an inquiry from the topology machine to another MFP.

  • [Serverless Pull Printing Group Name Setting]: Enter the name of the serverless pull printing group to add the MFP to.

[Topology Group Settings]

When linking to another serverless pull printing group, specify the target serverless pull printing group.

The host name, IPv4 address, and IPv6 address of the self-machine (topology machine) are displayed in the drop-down list of [Group 1].

In [Group 2] to [Group 10], enter the IP address or host name of the topology machine in the serverless pull printing group to be associated.

[Group settings]

Specify the serverless pull printing group the self-machine joins.

  • [Connection Destination information]: Enter the IP address or host name of the topology machine in the serverless pull printing group.

  • [Connection Timeout Setting]: Specify the timeout period to send an inquiry from the topology machine to another MFP.

  • [Serverless Pull Printing Group Name Setting]: Enter the name of the serverless pull printing group to add the MFP to.

  • This function is available when the storage function is disabled.
