Punch Regist Loop Size Adjustment

If the positions of the punch holes on the paper are not parallel to the paper edge, use this option to correct the obliquity of the paper to make them parallel.

This adjustment is possible when the Finisher FS-540/FS-540 SD and Punch Kit PK-526 are installed.

Setting

Description

[Finisher]/[Post Inserter Feeder Upper Tray]/[Post Inserter Feeder Lower Tray]

Select the position subject to paper inclination adjustment.

  • [Post Inserter Feeder Upper Tray]/[Post Inserter Feeder Lower Tray]: An adjustment is possible when the optional Post Inserter is installed on the machine.

[Paper Type]

Select the type of paper that is used to adjust the inclination.

[Adjust Value]

Enter the adjustment value between -5.0 mm and 5.0 mm (default: [0.0 mm]).

Increase the setting value to adjust the paper inclination. When the inclination is not corrected or paper creases after the setting value was increased, reduce the setting value.

This adjustment is possible when the Finisher FS-539/FS-539 SD and Punch Kit PK-524 are installed, or the Finisher FS-533 and Punch Kit PK-519 are installed.

[Paper Type]

Select the type of paper that is used to adjust the inclination.

[Adjust Value]

Enter the adjustment value between -4 and 4 (default: [0]).

Increase the setting value to adjust the paper inclination. When the inclination is not corrected or paper creases after the setting value was increased, reduce the setting value.

  • Make necessary adjustments while checking a sheet of paper containing punched holes that are not in the correct positions.
